The method is the same whether you commission a season audit or a shorter match-day observation. The difference is how many stages you buy and how long we stay with the fixture list.

Briefing
Half an hour. You name the club, the app, the languages, and the home Saturday. We name what we will not do: no rebuild, no admin-panel sitting during the match, no invented figures. If a guest login cannot be provided, we stop here.

Screen inventory
Hafiz Rahman walks every supporter-facing screen in the agreed build and writes a list: home, fixtures, ticket wallet, news, shop, more. Malay and English labels are recorded as they appear, not as the vendor’s spreadsheet says they should appear.

The quiet Tuesday
The app on a non-match day. Transfer rumours, a recycled shop tile, a fixture that still shows last week’s score. This is the part desks skip when they only test at kick-off. We do not skip it.

Match window
From the first reminder to the last replay clip. Farah Aziz uses the guest login. If you paid for a concourse hour, she stands with a guest pass between the gates and the seats and notes what the network actually allows. Rain delays are part of the window.

Written note and sit-down
The PDF goes to the commissioning desk first. The sit-down is ninety minutes for a season audit, shorter for a readout. We walk the empty screens in the order supporters met them. You decide what to take to the vendor.
What we need from you
A working guest login or trial membership. Notification copy for the window, in every language the app sends. A fixture list. A person at the club who can answer a same-day question if the login dies on Friday night. We do not need a brand deck.
What we will not do
We will not present the reading as a league table of “engagement.” We will not photograph supporters’ screens in the stand without the club’s written say-so, and even then we photograph only our own test handset. We will not brief a vendor without you in the room.
