House pages

Cookies

This page describes cookies on webgardenpath.click. It is a house notice for a small static site, not a claim that we run a large measurement stack. Read it with the privacy notice.

A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser. Some cookies are needed for a page to remember a choice you just made. Others help a host count visits. You can refuse the second kind and still read every page, send a briefing note, and open the written public materials.

What this site uses

The site is a static set of pages. Alpine.js, loaded from this host, reads a brand-prefixed key in localStorage so the cookie banner does not return on every visit after you choose. That key is not a third-party tracker. If your browser blocks storage, the banner may appear again; the rest of the site still works.

If you Accept, we may also set a first-party analytics cookie so we can see which public pages are opened (for example, whether the method page is read more often than the rates page). If you Reject, we do not set that analytics cookie. Rejecting does not block forms, readings pages, or field notes.

No advertising network is embedded on these pages. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. That is a third-party connection, not a Webgardenpath marketing cookie. If you block third-party requests, the pages still render with the browser’s fallback serif fonts.

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Both are always available; neither is visually hidden. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or use the browser’s controls to block storage for this domain. After a clear, the banner returns because the desk can no longer see your last choice.

Third-party cookies

We do not drop advertising cookies. A font request to Google Fonts, and any cookie that host sets, is governed by Google’s own notices. Embedded images loaded from Unsplash or Pexels are public pictures; those hosts may see a request for the file. They are not given your briefing form contents.

If you disable cookies

You can still read the audits, send a briefing note, and telephone the desk. You may see the banner more often. Optional page-tally figures will be absent, which does not change the fee or the reading.
